-To teach, preach, and baptize all who will heed "The Word"-
WELCOME TO SACRED LANDMARK
MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
I want to take a moment to extend a very warm welcome to everyone who is visiting our website for the first time. Whether you're just having a look, or are searching for a place to worship, we're delighted to have you.
To give you some idea of what we're all about, I'll quickly give you some of our foundational beliefs.
Our vision says this: Getting and growing people in relationship with Jesus.
So firstly, we're all about Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was who He said He was, the Son of God who came and died for our sins. So if this is your first time to our church, we hope that you get to know Him as we do, because He's truly what life is all about for us!
Secondly we're all about people. Every person who walks through our doors is important to us. We are a group of God's people how care about you and your family and we're here not only to feed you spiritually, but to help in any way we can. We love doing it and it's why we exist!
Thirdly, we're all about relationships. We hope to cultivate and grow meaningful and positive relationships between one another, but also go further by getting and growing in relationship with God. Christianity is all about a person, and less about a set of rules.
I encourage you to make use of this opportunity and allow us to serve you in this way. Thank you God bless you!

Pastor Michael A. Alarcon, Sr.
Th.M., Th.B
My family and I have lived in the foothill community area all of our lives, my wife is Native American, Mono descendent, originally from North Fork Ca., and a graduate from Sierra High School in 1990. I am Native American/ Hispanic, Mono and Chuckchansi descendent, originally from Table Mountain Rancheria and a graduate from Sandy Bluffs Education Center in 1994, and Auberry Elementary in 1987.
We did not grow up serving Christ, nor did we want anything to do with this message of salvation, nor did we raise our children to know Jesus Christ, but today, my family is saved. My family consist of; Norelva Alarcon, my wife, and our three children, David Alarcon, Janine Alarcon, and Michael Alarcon Jr. I had come to know Jesus Christ as my personal savior in February of 2003, I then surrendered to the ministry in December of 2006.
I had worked for the USFS out of Big Creek Ca. that is in the Sierra National Forest, on the High Sierra Ranger District, and was a school bus driver for Big Sandy Head Start and Cold Springs Head Start, and had the privilege to drive for Sierra Unified School District and Clovis Unified School Districts. I have recently come to achieve two degrees; Bachelors of Theology and Master of Theology, from the Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute.
The ministry that has been provided to me, has been over seen by First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, which is led by Pastor; Douglas Knox Jr.; ThB., ThM., D.D., ThD., and for 10 years this ministry has been nourished.
I would like to thank Big Sandy Rancheria Tribal Council, and Tribal Members, for the usage of their tribal facilities. Also, for those, who pray for the lost; because once I was blind, but know I can see…Matthew 15:31
